MegaSlate®-Solar Roof System

The MegaSlate®- Solar roof system is a pioneering, architecturally aesthetic concept particularly for new buildings and roof refurbishments.

Weather protection and electricity production, all in one

The MegaSlate®- solar roof system offers all the advantages of a conventional roof, and replaces conventional roof tiles either as a complete or partially integrated roofing material. Certified by the TÜV, and tested for wind and snow load, as well as for resistance to hail, the solar roof offers optimal weather protection.

The new standard

The solar laminate of the MegaSlate® solar roof system has a standard size and is suitable for roof surfaces with an angle of inclination of at least 20 degrees. The use of individual tailor-made elements is possible, and thus allows adaptation to roof areas, skylights and dormers.

Excellent energy yield

Due to optimum back ventilation, the substructure of the roof allows maximal energy yield. An intelligent heat extraction system for the exhaust air additionally increases the energy yield. Dust and dirt are washed away and the frameless solar laminates prevent biological growth. Because of this, a high energy yield is also ensured in the future.

Easy to handle

The solar laminates are laid overlapping, like conventional roof tiles. Here, glass fiber reinforced plastic sections serve both as supporting rails for the solar laminates and as gutters. The solar laminates are suspended from holding hooks on the prepared roof construction, and are wired with plugs and sockets. The solar laminates can be walked on, and can therefore be removed individually without problems.
