3S Swiss Solar Systems is your competent partner for the pioneering building integrated photovoltaics (BIPV). Our solar systems ensure a high degree of functionality and are highly innovative.
On the one hand, innovation and functionality are to be found in the aesthetics of the material, and on the other, in the long operating life and high energy yield. By the use of frameless solar modules - called solar laminates - there is no biological growth, so therefore a high energy yield is also guaranteed in the long-term.
It is now possible for architects, planners and developers to integrate photovoltaic systems into buildings in an aesthetic manner, and to use them as an architectural component.

Design and Construction
We only use frameless solar laminates. Through the frameless solar laminates, dirt deposits and biological growth is avoided in the long term, as rain washes away dust and dirt, ensuring a high long-term energy yield.
The frameless solar laminates enable large-area, uniform, closed photovoltaic systems, which integrate aesthetically as a whole into the shell of the building. This is unique, and is not achieved by any other comparable product.
The long life span is built on robust materials and precise manufacture. High quality single-pane safety-glass and tried-and-tested encapsulating materials in combination with our experience in encapsulation form a firm basis for our applications. Through continual and consistent further development of our products, we are always at the cutting-edge of technology.
Production
The solar laminates are produced both at our factory in Lyss, and under license on 3S Swiss Solar Systems production lines by customers of the Production Systems sector. With this, we ensure that we can meet the high demands of our customers.
Our solar laminates are certified according to IEC 61215 ed.2 and have protection category II. We give a 10 year guarantee of 90% output, and a 20 year guarantee of 80% minimum output for our solar laminates.
