3S-Facade laminates stand for the harmonic integration of photovoltaic in building Facades, using standardized or tailor-made solar laminates.

Suspended Facades with back ventilation according to DIN 18516-1

3S Facades enable a very free design of facade cladding. We use concealed connection boxes and short unobtrusive cable connections. The advice of the 3S planners throughout the project ensures highest levels of functionality and optimum energy yield, while the freely selectable support construction and fixing system offers complete flexibility. To comply with statutory regulations, either 3S facade laminates in glass/film sandwich or glass/glass sandwich are used, according to the height of the building.

Construction

Two different fixing systems are available for 3S shading laminates:

Point-fixing system

Thanks to point fixing, frameless solar laminates can be used to produce economical electricity-producing glass Facades, in a very aesthetic way.

Support construction with safety clamp brackets

This system with suspended sections and clamping brackets is suitable for high buildings. The solar laminates must be produced as a glass/glass sandwich, which results in an architecturally continuous glass facade.
The hanging sections are glued to the rear of the frameless solar laminates and fixed into the supporting structure of the facade.
